We came here to see the whales. Whale Quest was happening in Kapalua at the Ritz. The expo was a unique opportunity to meet world renown researches and writers from leading scientific and educational institutions. Or bid on a National Geographic Expedition trip to Antarctica. Market value was $20,000. Minimum bid was $15,000. I didn’t bid, but boy I would love to go.
