Thanks for posting the tombstones of the Stiles Family (from the Cline's old graveyard -- glad to see it's getting better care!)....The Stiles built our old house, the old stagecoach stop and tavern....They owned it until the 1930s, then sold it to the Kark family, who did all the remodeling, then we bought it in 1957....I don't know where the culvert is--it's new and has beaver building a dam? Orra Phelps little preserve? It made me think that one year you or Robin got into climbing into the culverts in front of our house and crossing the road in them...do you remember? Many are the exploits of the Perez Girls! jgp PS Remember Blogeing? (Not to be confused with blogging....although there is a similarity in there somewhere....) And do you still call Jennifer "Jupiter" as in the Donovan song? After all, I think Cosi is still used... Why do I remember all this? I also remember your Dad's old kayak in the garage. I always thought it was a mystical object of sorts....certainly sparked my imagination. Glad you are writing about it.......

We have a winner! The culvert is under the road leading from the beaver dams across from Sterm's into Phelp's Preserve...the spot where Ra "flew" after spotting a water snake during a fishing trip using a safety pin and kite string wrapped around a stick. Pussy Willow Creek.

Julie...blogeing....haven't thought of that since I last had an opportunity to do it...can't do that in the south, but you can in Alaska. Now let's see who can guess what that is!

Cosi stuck as Co, Juppy didn't.

Told dad you thought the kayak had some mystical properities. Today we were applying Bondo repair to the hull and almost had a mystical experience with dad sniffing the fumes!!

only uncle ralph and aunt eileeen call me jupi. oh, and if i happen to run into mrs stroup she will call me that too, but that has only happened twice and not since moving to mass.

Now,wasn't jupi a short for jupiter? Julie I think is right, though didn't it have to do with- Lost in Space.

That is a good theory, but Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system. Jen was a big baby (9lbs, 9 oz)with lots of hair. Jennifer became Furry Jen.

Too much information, Jen?
